Escape to Mu Ko Chumphon National Park

Here's a small park with great richness. Located about twenty kilometers south of the town of Chumphon, Mu Ko Chumphon National Park covers only 317 km2 of area. How to get to Chumphon Province in Thailand?

There are various options to reach Chumphon Province in southern Thailand.

By plane

For a quick journey, you can take a plane. Located 30 km north of the provincial capital, in Phatio district, Chumphon Airport has a connection with Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. The flight between the two destinations takes about an hour.

By train

Comfortable and convenient, the train allows you to reach Chumphon from Bangkok's Hu Lamphong Station. The distance between the two cities is 500 km. Expect between 7 and 10 hours of travel, depending on the type of train you take.

By bus

Generally, residents and travelers choose the bus to get to Chumphon. This option is much more affordable and flexible than a plane or train. In Bangkok, buses to Chumphon depart from the Sai Tai Mai terminal on Baromrajchonnee Road. The stop in Chumphon is at the Suwanateekhonsong office. Allow about 8 hours of travel.
