The spirit of travel
The ruins of Ayutthaya emerge from the morning mist, silent witnesses of the ancient kingdom of Siam. On the Mahasawat canal, red lotuses float among the water lilies while rice cakes crackle in the floating market's pots.
The circuit then crosses Kanchanaburi and its bridge over the River Kwai, before diving into the turquoise waterfalls of Erawan where seven natural pools cascade through the jungle. The night train carries you south, heading to Khao Sok National Park where bungalows on stilts float in the heart of Chiew Larn Lake. The tropical forest, 160 million years old, reveals its secrets during guided hikes, then Khao Lak unfolds its white sand beaches facing the Similan Islands, a snorkeling paradise with preserved coral beds.
This Thailand blends the heritage of ancient kingdoms with the living traditions of floating markets and mahouts. Bangkok, nicknamed the "Venice of the Orient," concludes the journey with its canals and gilded temples, guardian of this Siamese identity where history and tropical nature intersect.

Thailand can be visited year-round, but the best time is between November and February (dry and cool season). The north is cooler from November to January, while the southern beaches are ideal from December to April. The rainy season (June-October) offers lush landscapes and fewer tourists, with short and intense showers.
