How to get there?

To reach Koh Yao Yai, you can fly to Phuket or Krabi and then continue by boat. From Phuket, you have several departure ports to choose from: Ao Po Grand Marina, Bang Rong Pier, etc. Ferries operate regularly, with crossings taking between 20 minutes and an hour. In Krabi, boats to the island are less frequent but still convenient if you're staying in the province. Ferry connections are also available from other islands in the bay, such as Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, etc. Regardless, check schedules in advance, as they vary by season.
