AsieGolf undergoes a transformation and becomes Sawa’Discovery

Thailand is one of the most touristic countries in Southeast Asia. Today, many offer basic tourist circuits following the same itineraries.

Based on this observation, we aim to offer our travelers unique journeys, exploring new destinations with a focus on "slow tourism" and discovering Thai culture.

The story of AsieGolf

Martin initially founded Chiang Mai Swing in 2001 with a group of French-speaking friends and golfers residing in Chiang Mai. Initially focused on tourism and golf, the success of their offered stays prompted them to expand throughout Thailand and then into neighboring countries. Thus, the agency AsieGolf was born, bringing together friends, partners, and agents from Southeast Asia.

With a deep interest in Thailand and its landscapes, Martin continually sought new destinations to discover off the beaten path.

The beginnings of Sawa'Discovery!

In 2018, after 20 years at the helm of AsieGolf, Martin passed the torch to Emelyne and Sylvain, two passionate travelers and lovers of Asia.

Emelyne, having lived in Australia, Japan, Mongolia, and Kyrgyzstan, has come to appreciate and cherish Thai culture.

Together with Sylvain, who has been working in Asian tourism for 13 years, they decided to breathe new life into the agency. AsieGolf thus became Sawa'Discovery!

Committed to maintaining the same quality services and offering you an authentic Thailand off the beaten path, Emelyne and Sylvain aim to uphold the strong brand image of AsieGolf by providing tailor-made programs away from tourist crowds.
